2013 Seminars Register Today at www.ccr-summit.com LUNCHEON SEMINAR: Ferguson Jenkins, Hall of Fame Pitcher One of only 19 pitchers in the Modern Era to win 20 or more games in six separate seasons, this righthander spent 19 seasons in the major leagues with the Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies. Also a three-time All-Star, he won 284 games over his career, including 49 shutouts, and struck out 3,192 batters, trailing only five other hurlers at the time of his retirement in 1983. In 1971 he became the first Cubs pitcher and the first Canadian-born Major Leaguer ever to win the Cy Young Award by leading the National League with 24 wins and 30 complete games. His accolades include being inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 1987 and the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame in 2004. In 1991, he became the first Canadian ever elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame, and his No. 31 was retired by the Cubs in 2009. Ladies and gentlemen, Fergie Jenkins! AFTERNOON SEMINAR: Gary West, Western Magician A native of Arizona, Gary has been performing his incredible magic since the age of 14. He graduated with the highest of honors from the Jack Suther- land School of Magic in 1986. A full time professional since 1987, performing at countless venues such as: schools, churches, libraries, weddings, private parties, dinner theaters and corpo- rate events. Gary's performing resume includes a long list of restaurants, dinner theaters, resorts and clubs throughout the southwest. Highlights include special en- gagements in Las Vegas at The Mint Hotel, The MGM Grand and Casino Arizona, television appearances on Fox and other broadcasts and numerous magical performances at the Mis- sion Bell Movie Studios. Gary specializes in developing different shows that fit spe- cific themes to suit the needs of his clients. His signature piece is "The Wild West Wonders". With this show, Gary has taken magical effects along with his own magic and added a flare of the wild west. Gary West wows his audiences every- where he goes.
