INDUSTRY Q&A; figuring out what we need to do and when we can do it. What does "green" mean to your customers? As an outdoor-oriented company, the brand is tied to people who are active, whether they work or play outside. We have a full line of prod- ucts that help them live out their adventures, and want to make sure that those outdoor spaces they enjoy are available down the road. That's what we see as being important for our customers. What is your expansion plans? On the construction side, we are doing several relocations to get us into the right-sized spaces that are more suited for what we are doing now. We may have a slight increase in our total stores in 2013, but the main thing is to find more appropri- ate sizes for our existing stores. Those stores will be the ones that have leases expiring or about to expire. Working with landlords on what we can do to find a better space in an existing mall will be a priority. Overall, we continue to look at opportunities at top shopping malls Circle No. 16 28 Commercial Construction & Renovation September/October 2012 Photo by Mark A. Steele Photography Inc.
