Arcadis' "Urban Land Restoration Index (ULRI)" shows there is a goldmine of untapped resources in major cities like New York, and smaller cities such as Charlotte, Denver and Nashville, Tenn. – 27 cities in all. The ULRI identifes the cities where sites are most cost-effective to clean up, while providing the greatest potential for long-term uplift and returns for residential, commercial, and mixed-use development. Arcadis believes the parcels could attract renewed investment and revitalize former industrial sites.
